THE ANGLE LAMP CO. "FLEUR-DE-LIS" DOUBLE-ARM HANGING ANGLE LAMP, brass globular-form with stamped fleur-de-lis pattern and a copper finish, lower finial, drop-in font with top impressed with maker's name, base with a plunger valve, harp arm with hanging loop.
Hanging, double-arm angle lamps were particularly popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, from approximately 1896-1929. They were a prevalent form of kerosene lighting during that era, especially as an alternative to more basic lamp designs. These lamps were often sold in catalogs like Montgomery Ward and Sears Roebuck.
